Monthly active user? What’s that?

Monthly Active User (MAU) is a way to calculate your billing based on the total number of users who sign in to your platform in any given month. Bonboarding determines unique users using a unique ID, or a unique session identifier. Users are only counted once per month, even if they perform multiple actions across devices. An organization is charged based on the total number of MAUs across all flows. This means that even if a user performs multiple onboarding flows, they are counted once per project, and you  won’t be charged for inactive users who don’t perform any activity in a given month.

What's included in the free trial?

We want you to have the full Bonboarding experience, so  we don’t restrict you in any way during the 14-days trial period. Be creative, play around with our features, publish them to your users. Check out what you can achieve with our platform before making any commitment. We won’t even ask you for your credit card details if you don’t want to continue.

How does the free-tier work?

It’s pretty simple. You can sign up – even without giving your credit card details – and you can immediately usesome of Bonboarding’s features  for free for your first 300 active users each month. You can create cool product tours with the free-tier, but it comes with some limitations:: maximum one active flow, maximum six steps in each flow, Bonboarding watermark. If you reach this limit, we’ll send you a notification and contact you about upgrading options. Every new user is eligible for a 14-day free trial without any limitations

What happens if I go over my monthly quota?

When you reach the limit of your monthly quota,  we won’t interrupt your Bonboarding experience, and we will never charge you more, than what you subscribed for.  If you reach 90% of your your plan’s monthly active user allowance, we’ll send you a notification email and contact you about upgrading options.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes! Furthermore, we give you a discounted price if you sign up with us for a year. If halfway through your subscription you would exceed your active user limit, you can upgrade and will only be charged for the upcoming period - still at the discounted price.

How does the money-back guarantee work?

Accepted Answer

All Bonboarding plans come with a 60-day, no questions asked, money back guarantee This means that after using our service for the first 2 months of your subscription, if you feel that you are not finding the kind of success you were expecting, you can ask your membership charges to be refunded back to the original account from which you had made the payment. We won’t ask for any explanation, but we would love to hear your feedback on how we can improve our service.

0-300 MAUs: free, 301-100 MAUs: 99/mo (paing anually) or 129/mo, 1001-3000 MAUs: 199/mo (paing anually) or 249/mo, 3001-6000 MAUs: 299/mo (paing anually) or 369/mo, 6001-10000 MAUs: 399/mo (paing anually) or 499/mo, 10001-15000 MAUs: 499/mo (paing anually) or 629/mo, 15001-20000 MAUs: 599/mo (paing anually) or 749/mo, 20000+ MAUs: custom price

Is Bonboarding GDPR compliant?

Of course! Bonboarding complies with all legal requirements, including the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means your users’ data never leaves the European Union. To protect your users’ right to be forgotten , you can permanently delete your users’ data - from our dashboard.
